During my time at Turner Broadcasting I was tasked with increasing engagement rates on the Cartoon Network social channels. Apart from the usual polls / this-or-that formats, I thought that 'game-ifying' stories would be a great way to boost interaction.

The design encourages the user to tap the screen to skip to the next story, which acts as a convincing mechanism to perform an 'in-game' action. For each of these stories, there were 5 or 6 videos - a splash/'start' screen, with each subsequent video having an increasing degree of success, before the 'win' - revealing a tune-in message.

The above story set was created for the Nordic countries - the first slide reads 'tap to light a torch', then 'try again!', until finally you get the end screen and TX info.
